A client of mine popped in the office last week. He likes to buy properties that need work, renovate them and let them out. His theory is, if he does all of the work himself, he knows the standard the property is renovated to and therefore won’t get any costly problems later down the line. He’s asked me to help him keep a look out. Ideally 3 bedrooms should you have anything that might suit him!
In my search for him, I came across this. And it certainly had us taking a 2nd look. This 1 bed house is on the market at just £55,000. Ok, its going to auction, and my guess is it will sell for more, but even at £10K more, it could be great value for money. I wonder how easy it would be to make the attic in a true 2nd bedroom? We’ve not been inside, but it has to be worth investigating….. In great condition it has to easily worth over £100,000!
