I thought seeing as I had 5 minutes spare, I’d have a quick look through Rightmove to see what great investments there are available this week.
I was quite surprised to come across this. With an asking price of just £115,000 it grabbed my attention. My own agency has sold 2 bedroom ex-council homes in this area for more money! I even own once myself on this same development. It rents out fantastically well. In fact the same tenant has lived there for well over 5 years!

Broyd View is in Greaves. It is a great location, very close to the city and also several of Lancaster’s key employers – eg, the hospital and universities. Looking at the photos it needs some tlc, however it has a garden area and parking, something which tenants ask for! We could easily find a great tenant for this.
We think you could rent this out for £575. If you paid the full asking price for this home, you could expect a gross yield of almost 6%.
